Kevin Moran

Kevin is a Michigan-based mechanical engineer, serial inventor and entrepreneur. He received his B.S. from Michigan Technological University, and in 2019, was named one of Michigan Tech’s Five Under 35 Young Alumni Award recipients. His designs have appeared in National Geographic, MotortrendTV, Car & Driver, YouTuber ChrisFix (10.5M Subs) and the documentary Billions in change where he developed 2 patents with a billionaire Manoj Bhargava. Currently, he has 10 registered patents and 1 more pending in industries ranging from pet products to medical devices to nuclear threat detection. His two inventions, The OilUdder, a mess reducing tool for home oil changers and the 5minutePetBath, a quick and gentle way to wash your pet; both have been selected as Amazon Choice products. Kevin was the winner of the 2023 Michigan Inventors Coalition best idea award and a guest speaker at this year's Event.
Personally, he's climbed Denali, Adventure motorcycled across Australia and the United States and recently completed his divemaster certification and first Ironman 70.3 event. His personal motto is "Quit working at knowing somebody and start working to become someone to know".
